In Friday evening's Bounty Hunt, teams had to solve puzzles and clues based on the theme of "Shadows of the Empire" - working for Empire in the time of the Rebellion as the sun set on the Orange County Convention Center. This hunt had a heavy emphasis on the original trilogy films and expanded universe in this time frame. In addition to solving clues, teams had to face challenges such as looking for secret clues with a UV light, shooting a clonetrooper with a Nerf blaster, and avoiding a sentry droid in the dark.

Final Rankings in the Bounty Hunters Guild

A total of 271 participants on 100 teams registered and competed in the Friday evening Bounty Hunt. 84teams managed to earn credits and have them recorded at the Bounty Hunt HQ, with the top five earning prizes. All teams also received a ultraviolet light keychain, handy for two of the clues.


We had a first for the Bounty Hunt: teams earning a perfect score - getting all 12 clues correct and earning the stamps on their scorecards. Not one, but two teams achieved this feat, and they chose to finish together to tie for the win for Friday's hunt. Congratulations to Ponda Baba's Right Hand Men and Dark Keglers on this rare accomplishment!
